Typical traditional Restaurant
Our authentic Carnian Style restaurant with a classic atmosphere. Wrapped in the warm atmosphere of wood and soft colors, it is enlivened by the typical fogolar furlan – which warms up conviviality and friendship with its flames. Fogolar means fireplace which traditionally was the centre of the family life and still live in the families in Sauris.
Open towards the external patio, to which it is connected, the traditional restaurant offers around 30 sitting seats. Suitable for parties and group tables in any season.
Peickele restaurant, renovation with style
Fresh and lively atmosphere for the most recent restaurant. Peickele in the Carnian language means “owl”. It’s the emblem and lucky charm of the Hotel Riglarhaus, beloved by our guests. With fir wood walls that give warmth and hospitality, enlivened by the red color of the upholstery on the benches, the Peickele restaurant is bright, comfortable and tastefully furnished.
Located in the heart of the hotel, it offers also a sitting area with fireplace for relaxing breaks, perfect location for sipping a good local “grappa” after dinner. The Peickele restaurant is your ideal location for group parties, events and weddings.

Accompanied by Prosecco, excellent local red and white Friulian wines or local beers, it is a real moment of pleasant relaxation to be enjoyed alone or in company. Tastings at the bar, in the outdoor area, on the terrace with a panoramic view, perhaps after a relaxing break in the SPA.
